Titan Terminal and Transport, Inc. ("Titan"), the preeminent Southern California rail terminal, is
excited to announce the acquisition of an additional 8 acres in South Gate, California at 4500
Ardine Street. The newly acquired parcel, which was previously owned and operated by United
States Gypsum as a paper mill, is contiguous to the 16 acres already owned by Titan in South
Gate. Titan's footprint now exceeds 24 acres in the heart of Los Angeles.
Titan immediately picks up an additional 16 rail car spots, with plans to add many more in the
very near future. This now gives Titan a total of 150 rail spots centrally located in the Southern
California market, only 12 freeway miles to the Long Beach and Los Angeles Ports. Additionally,
all 140 spots are served by both the Union Pacific and BNSF railroads, which allows our
customers to negotiate more competitive rail rates.
The newly acquired property, which is zoned M‐3 for heavy industrial use, also houses a 66KV
electrical substation that provides large amounts of inexpensive power‐ a tremendous
advantage for heavy power users.
Centrally located in Southern California, just off the Firestone exit of the 710 Freeway, Titan
handles a variety of chemicals (hazardous and non‐hazardous), agricultural products (grains and
related products), and anything else that arrives into Southern California via rail or cargo ship.
Titan also provides re‐packaging, lab services, and warehousing, and serves a host of markets on
both an import and export basis.
Finally, Titan has an extensive tank farm on its 4570 Ardine street property with over 1,000,000
gallons of tank storage.
